Job Description:

Location: Atlanta House, Higham Ferrers

Salary: £28,000–£30,000 (negotiable DOE) plus uncapped commission

OTE: £38,000 - £45,000 + subject to performance

Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm - No weekend working

What will you be doing?

This is a 360 recruitment role, meaning you'll be involved in the full recruitment process, from developing client relationships and finding candidates through to securing placements.

Your industry knowledge will give you a valuable starting point, while your training will help you develop the skills needed to manage your own recruitment desk.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing relationships with businesses across the KBB and merchant sectors, understanding their recruitment needs and identifying opportunities to work together.
• Sourcing candidates, conducting screening calls and interviews, and assessing their experience and suitability for available roles.
• Building a strong database of industry professionals and maintaining relationships with candidates throughout their careers.
• Identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships and contributing to the growth of your specialist market.
• Coordinating interviews, gathering feedback, supporting offers and helping candidates and clients through to successful placements.
• Taking ownership of your activity, managing your pipeline and working towards agreed performance targets.
• Building your recruitment, sales and negotiation skills with support from the team and applying your growing knowledge of the market.
• You'll be encouraged to take ownership of your desk, build your own relationships and develop into a successful specialist consultant.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will bring one or more of the following:

• Experience within the KBB industry, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, showrooms, design, manufacturing or supply.
• Experience within a builders', plumbing, heating or other relevant merchant business.
• A proven track record in recruitment, with the motivation to learn and specialise in the KBB and merchant markets.
• Direct KBB or merchant industry experience is particularly valuable, but we also welcome applications from established recruiters who can demonstrate strong commercial results and a willingness to learn our specialist markets.

Alongside your experience, you'll ideally be:

• Confident communicating with people at all levels.
• Comfortable building and maintaining professional relationships.
• Commercially minded, with an interest in sales and business development.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage your own workload.
• Motivated by targets, results and earning potential.
• Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to feedback, training and continuous development.
• Previous recruitment experience is not essential for candidates with relevant KBB or merchant industry experience.
