Warehouse Operative – Days | Temp to Perm

Pay Rate: £12.75 – £13.25 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – Days
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced warehousing operation working within the container industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for regular Monday to Friday day work, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

The successful candidates will be working as part of a warehouse team, carrying out the loading and unloading of stock from containers, moving goods safely around the warehouse and assisting with the general day-to-day operation.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your main responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading stock from containers

• Manually handling and moving goods within the warehouse

• Loading and preparing stock for dispatch

• Unloading incoming deliveries and containers

• Checking goods as they are received and dispatched

• Moving stock to the correct storage locations

• Keeping stock organised and ensuring the warehouse remains tidy

• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

• Working efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines

• Following all company health and safety procedures

• Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure the operation runs smoothly

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
