Salary: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Teaching Assistant - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Wellingborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people and wants to make a positive difference to their education and development.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide classroom assistance, support individual and small groups of pupils, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons.

• Providing classroom support to pupils across a range of subjects.

• Working with individuals and small groups to support learning and development.

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.

• Helping pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons.

• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.

• Assisting with classroom preparation and resources.

• Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.

• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.

• A patient, caring, and nurturing approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils.

• A proactive and adaptable attitude.

• Good classroom management skills.

• A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
