Small Tools Fitter

Location: Northampton
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 + Overtime
Hours: Monday–Friday – No Weekends

Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading equipment and tool hire company to recruit an experienced Small Tools Fitter to join their team in Northampton.

This is a great opportunity to join an established business, working on a varied range of small tools and equipment, with the opportunity to earn additional money through overtime.

The Role:

• Service, maintain and repair a range of small tools and hire equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare equipment for hire, ensuring it is safe and ready for use.
• Identify parts required and assist with maintaining workshop standards.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Small Tools Fitter, Tool Fitter, Plant Fitter or similar.
• Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on small plant, tools or equipment.
• A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail.
• Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
