If so a precision manufacturer based in Northampton is actively seeking a Quality Inspector on a 3 month Outside IR35 Contract!

Quality Inspector
Job Responsibilities:

• Carrying out dimensional and manual inspection of precision-engineered components
• Inspecting components against engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards
• Using a range of precision measurement and inspection equipment
• Supporting calibration and ensuring inspection equipment remains accurate and fit for use
• Operating CMM equipment and carrying out programmed inspections where required
• Identifying and reporting non-conformances and quality issues
• Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues

Essential Skills:

• Ideally experienced within a precision engineering, motorsport, automotive or similar manufacturing environment
• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Good understanding of dimensional measurement techniques
• CMM operation experience is highly desirable
