Salary: Up to £18.50 per hour (£35,594 per annum)
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 3:30pm | Friday, 7:30am – 12:30pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

ACS Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in West Northamptonshire, who are looking to recruit an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder with a strong background in metalwork and fabrication, looking to secure a stable, long-term position with an immediate start available.

The successful candidate will be confident carrying out both MIG and TIG welding, with previous experience working with metalwork and roll-forming processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
• Working with a variety of metal materials and components.
• Undertaking general metalwork, fabrication and assembly duties.
• Operating relevant welding equipment and workshop machinery.
• Working with roll-forming processes and metal-forming equipment.
• Reading and following technical drawings and job specifications.
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the required quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in MIG and TIG welding is essential.
• Strong background in metalwork and fabrication.
• Experience with roll forming or similar metal-forming processes.
• Good understanding of workshop equipment and welding techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable, hardworking and looking for a permanent opportunity.
