As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and purposeful lessons that help students develop their mathematical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and confidence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations and helping them achieve their academic potential
• Potential opportunities to teach A-Level Mathematics, depending on your experience and subject expertise
• Adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning requirements
• Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Assessing student understanding and monitoring progress effectively
• Providing constructive feedback to help students identify areas for development
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, effort, and achievement
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within a supportive Maths department
• Supporting intervention programmes, revision sessions, and enrichment activities
• Contributing positively to wider school life and departmental development

We are looking for a Maths Teacher who:

• Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has a strong academic background in Mathematics or a related subject
• Has confident knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum
• Is confident preparing students for GCSE examinations
• Has strong classroom management and communication skills
• Can build positive relationships with students and motivate them to succeed
• Is passionate about Mathematics and making the subject accessible and engaging
• Is adaptable, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality teaching
• Works well both independently and as part of a wider department
