Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality classroom support, assist with interventions, and help create a positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom across a range of subjects and year groups.

• Delivering small group interventions to support learning and progress.

• Providing one-to-one support for pupils when required.

• Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation.

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping them access the curriculum.

• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil engagement.

• Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting.

• Experience supporting children or young people within a school environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
