Business Development Manager – Smart Storage Solutions

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus | Company Car | National Role

Our client is an established UK manufacturer specialising in bespoke metal lockers, changing room equipment and innovative smart storage solutions.

This is a newly created opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to take responsibility for developing the company's growing smart locker division.

The Role

• National UK sales responsibility
• Initial sales target of approximately £1m
• Develop new business across the smart locker market
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities
• Sell innovative smart lockers incorporating integrated screens and app-based technology
• Develop relationships with specialist distributors and furniture fit-out companies
• Build relationships with contractors and key project stakeholders
• Identify new sectors and applications for the products
• Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through to completion
• Develop long-term customer relationships and partnerships
• Drive growth and revenue across the division

• Commercial fit-out projects

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven Business Development or New Business Sales experience
• Strong track record of winning new customers
• Experience selling into contractors and/or fit-out companies
• Commercially driven and proactive
• Confident developing new markets and opportunities
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Target driven with a genuine hunger for new business
• Comfortable managing a national territory
• Experience with recurring-revenue products or solutions would be advantageous

£50,000 - £60,000 basic salary
