Job Title: Audit Manager
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire
Package: £50,000 - £60,000, hybrid working, 27 days holiday +BH, private healthcare, and more
Working Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-4:30pm

A fantastic opportunity is available within a medium sized and growing Accountancy Practice in Northamptonshire for a Client Manager (Audit). This role is well suited to existing managers who want to manage clients and audit staff, or experienced auditors just looking to manage clients.

You will be playing a crucial role within this practice, who have established an excellent local reputation. You will be delivering audits up to review level, and establishing crucial client relationships for the practice. The role offers some excellent benefits and is something you don't want to miss

Audit Manager Job Responsibilities

• Managing audits from planning through to completion
• Reviewing audit files and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
• Carrying out audit work for a varied portfolio of clients
• Reviewing statutory accounts and supporting accounts preparation where required
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
• Preparing and reviewing audit documentation and working papers
• Liaising directly with clients and resolving queries
• Identifying areas for improvement and providing practical recommendations to clients
• Supporting the wider accounts team with ad hoc work when required
• Managing deadlines and ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently

Audit Manager Job Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified, QBE can be considered
• A minimum of 5 years accountancy practice recruitment
• Strong technical knowledge and audit experience, particularly in medium to large groups
• A proactive, growth-oriented mindset, with high ambitions
• Excellent organisation, interpersonal, and communication skills

Audit Manager Salary & Benefits

• Salary depending on experience, paying from £50,000-£60,000
