Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an Activities Coordinator to join a large healthcare organisation on a temp-to-perm basis.

📍 Location: Northampton, NN2 8DT
💷 Pay Rate: £17 per hour
⏰ Hours: 37 per week
📅 Contract: Temp to Perm

The Role

As an Activities Coordinator, you will:

• 🎨 Plan and organise a variety of activities based around residents’ interests and abilities.

• 🎵 Deliver engaging activities including arts and crafts, music, games, quizzes and social events.

• ❤️ Encourage residents to participate and promote their wellbeing, independence and quality of life.

• 👥 Build positive relationships with residents and create a welcoming and inclusive environment.

• 📋 Work alongside care staff to ensure activities are appropriate to individual needs and abilities.

• 🎉 Support the organisation of special events, celebrations and entertainment within the care home.

About You

• Previous experience working with older people, ideally within a care home or healthcare setting.

• Friendly, creative and enthusiastic approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patient and compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting residents.
