Senior Account Manager 

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 basic + uncapped commission
OTE: £100,000+ earning potential
Location: Office-based
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:30

We’re recruiting for an experienced senior account manager to join an established business finance organisation.
This is an opportunity for proven sales professionals who know how to build relationships, manage a strong sales pipeline and, most importantly, close deals.

Working with high-quality, warm leads, you’ll speak with business clients looking for finance solutions, understand their requirements and take ownership of opportunities from initial conversation through to completion.
This role would suit a confident, commercially minded salesperson who enjoys working towards ambitious targets and wants their earning potential to reflect their results.
The Role

• Manage and convert warm inbound leads into completed business finance deals.
• Build strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Understand clients’ requirements and identify suitable finance solutions.
• Take ownership of the full sales process, from initial enquiry through to closing the deal.
• Confidently negotiate terms, handle objections and progress opportunities to completion.
• Manage a healthy pipeline, ensuring leads are followed up and opportunities are maximised.
• Work closely with underwriting and internal teams to ensure applications progress smoothly.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and consistently work towards individual sales targets.
• Contribute to a high-performing sales environment, sharing knowledge and helping drive results.

• Excellent negotiation, objection-handling and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to manage a pipeline effectively and convert opportunities into revenue.
• A commercially driven mindset, with the motivation to maximise earning potential.
• Professional communication skills and a proactive approach to following up opportunities.

We’re looking for someone with the sales experience, commercial awareness and closing ability to succeed at a senior level.
